Walter had a business trip this week to Dallas, and I unexpectedly got to go with him at the last minute! We ended up renting a car and driving there. Here is a little glimpse of our ride...
That's right....We sported a Dodge Charger from here to Dallas and back. We actually got pulled over on the way home. It wasn't for speeding (although Walter was tempted to "see how fast it could go" until I convinced him that probably wasn't the best idea) but because the cop thought we looked suspicious, ha!
He had to work most of the day on Wednesday. I worked a little that morning and then I walked around the Galleria mall right across the street. Then we ate a delicious dinner, like still dreaming of the food kind of delicious, at a place called Bread Winners in Uptown. (followed by dessert at Pinkberry's of course!)
I obviously forgot my camera which is why this post contains Google'd images and none of the two of us. We headed back on Thursday and are back in the groove today, or trying to get back in the groove. Hopefully I'll get to go back with him to Dallas again because this trip was just too short. Regardless, I welcomed the change of scenery and as always had a great time with the hubs. Hopefully we will get in a vacation before the summer is over and I'll be sure to remember my camera then!
